Calling all reined cow horse high school seniors and collegiate riders!
The realization that reined cow horse riders do not have a place to show in California at the collegiate level hit us hard and we are doing something about it!
We have partnered with the Santa Ynez Valley Cow Horse series to bring to colleges statewide the California Collegiate Reined Cow Horse Association. After much learning and conversations with the NRCHA, NRCHA judges, Non Pro Riders, college students and college administrations we worked to build a sustainable model for a four show series that will kick off on October 26, 2019.
The series is open to both four year universities and community college students. If your school doesn’t currently have a reined cow horse team – no worries! You can show as an individual or as a team and your membership with the CCRCHA includes the insurances most college teams require. With all the larger RCH shows leaving to other locations, we are excited to offer this series right here in the State of California!
Looking forward to meeting all of you – let’s do this!
